Having just returned from Hawaii, I have been in deep contemplation about this question. During the filming of our next DVD Series and a short Documentary, two of the key questions we asked people were, “How does HNY create community?” and “How do you experience community within HNY?”
Bryan Kest, through his “no-nonsense, raw and tangible approach” to Yoga has always been an inspiration to me and on his website he states,
Hot Nude Yoga is the brainchild of Aaron Star, and has taken off in New York in the last few years.
Hot Nude Yoga was started by Aaron in 2001, and combines elements of Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Contact Yoga with a healthy dose of Tantra- which makes it perfect for gay men.

Before moving to New York, Aaron's passion and love lay beneath the sea. He became an avid Scuba Instructor, circling the globe and teaching Scuba Diving in many spectacular places. After living in the Caribbean for two years, Aaron came to New York and founded the exclusive, Members Only, Hot Nude Yoga Studio and is the creator of the Hot Nude Yoga DVD series, the Hawaiian Hot Nude Yoga DVD series.
Aaron Star has been a student of yoga since 1991, and has been teaching yoga since 1997. Aaron has traveled the world visiting numerous yoga ashrams and retreat centers studying with many teachers, and taking the men of Hot Nude Yoga on these excursions. As a teacher, Aaron draws upon the teachings of the whole yogic tradition and his specialty lies in helping students to touch the limitless and pure parts of themselves and their yoga practice.

Common goals of private Instruction
In receiving private instruction, you will typically work in these areas. Please specify which ones you are looking to develop.
* Those who are new to yoga and need some basic instruction on understanding the postures, and how to integrate them into a class.
* Home Practice Development: Students frequently want to practice yoga more often than they can come to group classes. Practicing at home is a useful and cost effective supplement to group classes at the studio.
* Personalized Yoga Coaching: Group class students frequently benefit from personalized help to deepen their yoga practice. Coaching sessions include feedback on how to properly perform yoga postures and adaptations for the client's individual goals and body. Students who have attended coaching sessions report that the sessions help them make huge strides in improving their yoga practice.
* Special Needs Instruction: Some individuals have needs that are not met by group classes. We work one on one with students who have a variety of needs. Examples of past client issues include: stress management, sports training, managing menopausal symptoms, arthritis, infertility, cancer recovery, HIV and AIDS therapy and treatments and Multiple Sclerosis. We also work with individuals with neck, back, and other acute and chronic physical injuries.

Life Coaching - The sessions will focus on how to integrate and weave the principles of Tantra (living limitlessly and fearlessly) into your everyday life while over coming the challenges and obstacles you face. We will focus on your short and long term goals on how to live your life with more purpose and any other areas you wish to work on. Aaron will teach and provide practices that are applicable to your needs. A commitment of two to six months is required. i.e. No less than two months and no more than six. We will speak once every two weeks. The cost for coaching is $60 per session and each session lasts 30 mins. A two month payment is required to start.

Professional Policies for private sessions.
1. All payments made are non refundable.
2. A 24 hour cancellation must be made. If it isn't, compensation is expected and required.
3. All interactions and communication between student and instructor are confidential and private.
4. The student must be showered and prepared for their private yoga session.
5. The student must provide their own Yoga Mat. If they do not have a yoga mat, the may purchase one at the Hot Nude Yoga studio for $20.

Have been doing yoga (clothed) for 8 yrs. Enjoyed doing the hot nude yoga workout this past weekend when it aired on Here! TV On Demand. There is a nude yoga class for men in Fort Lauderdale and now I am anxious to attend. You are a great teacher.

Thank you and all gurus at the Memorial Day Retreat. It was truly one of the most extraordinary experiences in my life thus far. I chanted and cried the whole way home.
