About the Class - This classes will be combination of Tantra Hatha Yoga and a strong Vinyasa Flow. These classes are not meant to be a jump start to getting shape. All HNY classes are for men who have a yoga practice, or regular fitness regime.
HNY is a unique opportunity for healthy, in shape men, to raise their consciousness and initiate a yoga practice. Specifically, at HNY, we practice Tantra Yoga, which will teach you how to access untapped sexual core energy and learn to live your life with inner peace and joy. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to meet other physically fit men and discover, through partner yoga, how to touch other men energetically and sensually.
We also require all yogi’s to be in shape. Our sessions are not for people who have not walked to the end of the driveway in the last year, not are they for those you wish to come and admire. There are many other groups in the world for you if you fall into that category.
Hot Nude Yoga is a practice – and as such, it is vital you approach your practice with patience and ahimsa (non harming to the self) Whether you have a regular practice or are a beginner, it is possible you will feel frustrated at the beginning. Our advice is to remember to honor your higher self, be patient, and begin at the beginning. Many of the rewards of a yoga practice take time to manifest, generally by the 5th or 6th session you will notice tangible results in your body and mind.

Yoga Mat We rent mats at the studio for $5
On a final note, "try" not to eat anything up to two hours before the session. Do drink
PLENTY of water! And don't eat any legumes (beans or rice) for at least 24 hours before the session! (You can, but it may cause some discomfort.)
And PLEASE take a shower if you can before hand (as we do not have shower facilities) and please do not cover yourself in cologne, as it can be offensive to other people.

Will I still be able to access my membership at www.whexclub.net
You will no longer be able to access your Whexclub Membership. You may purchase new class cards at the Hot Nude Yoga Studio. Does this mean that registration for classes will occur on the HNY website?
To receive updates from Hot Nude Yoga about classes in LA, special events, and Retreats, to take advantage of our exclusive membership, connect directly with other members from LA and around the world, view private photo galleries, you must register at www.hotnudeyoga.com Due to the inability of our systems being able to interface, we will NOT be able to transfer your membership.
Do I have to register at www.hotnudeyoga.com to come to the HNY Classes in LA?
You do not have to register at this time. But if you wish to be receive the most of what HNY can offer you, we highly suggest it.
How much does it cost to register?
Registration is free.
Starting on what date?
You may register at any time. Aaron Star took over the LA Nude Yoga Group effective Feb 1, 2009
Will I still be able to use the old system to register?
You will NOT be able to register at www.nakedyoga.net / www.whexclub.net.
Will I lose my Naked Yoga LA membership if I don't register on the HNY site?
You will not lose your membership, but if you don't register at www.hotnudeyoga.com, you will stop receiving any emails updates, and lose contact with the group.
What about reservations I've already made?
There is no reservation system in place.
What about my prepays?
Any class cards / packages purchased before Jan 31, will be honored by Aaron up to their existing expiry date, or up to June 1, 2009, whichever comes first.
Will they show up on the new system?
We will have records of your class cards and pre pays, You may show up to any class and be able to use them.
Hi, I've always stayed in shape and I've even starred in a yoga DVD shot in COSTA RICA and I'm very liberal, having said that, would a STRAIGHT married male be welcome in your class environment? No offense.

Hey Aaron, Thanks for the class tonight (beginner series). As someone who practiced consistently for a while, I'm amazed at how much I take away from your series. Thanks for you patience, your smile and your infectious laugh. I'm really sorry about the whole Hawthorne Loft thing. I truly believe that the most amazing space will present itself and will provide a great home base for all of us Angelenos, (actually that's a pretty tall order...how about most of us Angelenos). My vote is something closer to Downtown. There is a HUGE population of us who hang a little to the East. Namaste, Jimmy

Hey Aaron,
Thank you for stepping in and keeping the group going.
I welcome your creating a home for members of all fitness levels, but I also want a studio where I can break a sweat and work out with guys of my fitness and yoga abilities. And if I'm taking a partner class, I'd really prefer it be with people who I can be comfortable with and who I will not feel are taking advantage.
I would also really encourage you to visit some of the instructors' classes to get a sense of their styles. Steve is good, and I've never practiced with Arcady or Dana. I miss Blu, and really miss Donovan, but perhaps either or both would be open to return under your new management?
On a purely logistical note, it would be fantastic if I could buy classes with my American Express.

I wanted to thank you for reaching out and expressing your thoughts and experiences. This is exactly the kind of feedback I have been looking for so I can get a "handle" on what the situation is. My experience so far has been very enthusiastic and people are very thrilled.
For now we have discontinued class cards and it will just be $20 at the door unless it is a special class or event. I will probably be offering class card options again soon, but sadly we will not be taking AMEX. They are too difficult on many fronts for merchants to deal with.
I plan to be attending all of the classes, in addition to the Monday Nights I am teaching, over the next while to meet the community and those dedicated yogis who are coming as there seems to be many.
I took Dana's class last night and judging from your email, you would really enjoy them.
I have also heard very positive things about Arcady /Ezekiel's class as well.
I look forward to meeting you Aaron

answer: Dear Long Beach and Orange County Yogi's
Many of you have been sending emails regarding future classes for Long Beach.
At this time we are not sure what we are going to do out there. As many of you probably know, I have just taken over the group and am working very hard and creating a strong class schedule and support for the group.
I know that Dana has expressed interest in leading the future classes, but what we really need is a teacher in Orange County / Long Beach who can lead them as the LA teachers can not drive out there weekly to lead them. Another issue we are facing is space, and then one of the other issues we need to consider is the size of the classes as they have never really been that well attended.
In the meantime, please come to attend classes in NYC (ooops, I mean LA) with us.
We are doing the best we can and will serve you.
